Storyline

In 1999, the Janjira nuclear plant was mysteriously destroyed with most hands lost including supervisor Joe Brody's colleague and wife, Sandra. Years later, Joe's son, Ford, a US Navy ordnance disposal officer, must go to Japan to help his estranged father who obsessively searches for the truth of the incident. In doing so, father and son discover the disaster's secret cause on the wreck's very grounds. This enables them to witness the reawakening of a terrible threat to all of Humanity, which is made all the worse with a second secret revival elsewhere. Against this cataclysm, the only hope for the world may be Godzilla, but the challenge for the King of the Monsters will be great even as Humanity struggles to understand the destructive ally they have.

An elderly woman narrates and tells the story of Maleficent, a young and powerful fairy living in the Moors, a magical realm bordering a human kingdom. As a young girl, she falls in love with a human peasant boy named Stefan, whose infatuation with Maleficent is overshadowed by his ambition to become king. As they grow older, the two drift apart until one day Stefan stops coming to see her. After Maleficent defeats the current king in battle during an attack on the Moors, the king becomes fatally ill and he offers his crown to whoever kills Maleficent. Stefan visits her at night and drugs her, but can't bring himself to kill her. Instead he burns off her wings using iron (a lethal substance to fairies) and presents them to the king as proof she was slain. Heartbroken by Stefan's betrayal and the loss of her wings, Maleficent begins building a darker kingdom in the faerie realm. Maleficent rescues a raven named Diaval, who swears to serve her for life; he serves as her one companion and confidant, constantly being shape-shifted from man to bird and other animals as she needs him.
One day, Diaval informs Maleficent that Stefan, now king, is hosting a christening for his newborn daughter, Aurora. In retaliation for Stefan's betrayal, Maleficent arrives uninvited and curses the baby with a sleeping curse to take effect on her 16th birthday after pricking her finger on a spinning wheel spindle. However, after making Stefan beg her for mercy, she gives the curse an antidote in true love's kiss, meant to be irony towards the "true love's kiss" Stefan gave Maleficent on her own 16th birthday. Stefan has all the spinning wheels in the kingdom burned and locked away and he sends Aurora off to live with three pixies hidden deep in the woods until the day after her 16th birthday. King Stefan, haunted by guilt, grows increasingly paranoid of Maleficent and her vengeance against him.

In the near future, an alien race has invaded the Earth starting from Germany and overtaken almost the entirety of Western Europe. The aliens are nicknamed "Mimics" for their ability to mimic and respond to Earth military combat strategies with efficiency. After various losses, humankind finally achieves success with the creation of combat "jackets", along with the battle victories of Special Forces soldier Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt), who becomes a symbol for the war effort.

A final surprise assault is planned on the coast of France. As success is expected, General Brigham (Brendan Gleeson) orders Major William Cage (Tom Cruise) to be at the front with a camera crew. Cage's background is in advertising and he is untrained for combat; despite his resistance and unfamiliarity with weapons he is forcibly sent to J Squad under Sergeant Farrell (Bill Paxton). Upon arriving at the beachfront the soldiers are ambushed, the Mimics aware of their arrival beforehand. Cage is overwhelmed and witnesses Vrataski's death, but he manages to detonate a bomb, killing himself and an unusual-looking Mimic.

In the dystopian future of 2023, sentient robots known as Sentinels are exterminating mutants and humans. A small band of mutant survivors manage to evade the Sentinels thanks to the powers of Kitty Pryde, who has the ability to project a person’s consciousness back in time to deliver warnings, with the limitation that changes made in the past will not alter the future until the time traveller returned to observe the effect.

Pryde’s group rendezvous with Magneto and Professor Charles Xavier in a monastery in China. They hatch a plan to send Wolverine’s consciousness back in time to prevent Mystique from murdering Bolivar Trask, the lead designer of the Sentinels. Trask’s assassination will make him a martyr, Mystique will be captured and her mutant powers will be reverse-engineered and used to create the formidable Sentinels of the future. Professor X advises Logan to seek out his younger self for aid.

Wolverine wakes up in 1973 in his younger body. He travels to the X-Mansion, where he encounters the young Hank McCoy and a disheveled Xavier. His school has failed and most of his original X-Men are dead, and this has left him a broken man. He has also lost his telepathic powers through taking serum which allows him to walk again. Wolverine convinces Xavier to break out Magneto — who was accused of murdering John F. Kennedy (a charge he denies, stating that Kennedy was himself a mutant) — out of a prison cell beneath the Pentagon. They do this with the help of Peter Maximoff, a mutant who can move fast.

Two years after the Battle of New York, Steve Rogers lives in Washington, D.C. and works for the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D. while struggling to adapt to contemporary society. Rogers is called to help liberate a S.H.I.E.L.D. vessel from Algerian pirates led by Georges Batroc. Aboard, he discovers fellow agent Natasha Romanoff extracting data from the ship’s computers. At the Triskelion, S.H.I.E.L.D.’s headquarters, Nick Fury introduces Rogers to Project Insight: three Helicarriers linked to spy satellites and designed to preemptively eliminate threats.

Fury is unable to access the encrypted data that Romanoff recovered and becomes suspicious about Project Insight. On his way to rendezvous with Maria Hill, Fury is ambushed by assailants disguised as police officers, led by a mysterious assassin called the Winter Soldier. Fury escapes, sneaks into Rogers’ apartment, and warns Rogers that S.H.I.E.L.D. has been compromised. Fury hands Rogers the USB flash drive that contains the data from the ship before being gunned down by the Winter Soldier, who escapes. Fury dies in surgery, and Hill recovers the body.
The next day, Rogers is summoned to the Triskelion by senior S.H.I.E.L.D. official Alexander Pierce. When Rogers withholds Fury’s information, Pierce brands him a fugitive. Hunted by the agency, Rogers meets with Romanoff. Using data in the flash drive they discover an old S.H.I.E.L.D. underground base in New Jersey. There, they activate a supercomputer containing the preserved consciousness of Arnim Zola, who reveals that since S.H.I.E.L.D. was founded after World War II, HYDRA has secretly operated within its ranks, sowing global chaos in the hope humanity would willingly surrender its freedom in exchange for security. Rogers and Romanoff narrowly escape death when a S.H.I.E.L.D. missile destroys the bunker.

Sunny, who takes an instant liking to the script requests the director to let her meet the real Ragini (Kainaz Motivala) who is now in asylum, to get a better in depth look of the character she wants to portray. But the meeting goes horribly wrong when Ragini stabs herself brutally in her neck, killing herself.
Later, the cast and crew arrive at the haunted house to shoot and things start going haywire. Then entered Dr Meera Dutta (Divya Dutta), a psychiatrist who specializes in such horrible cases. After going through old news paper clipping and video tapes of Ragini, She finds the truth regarding the ghost.

Siddharth (Farhan Akhtar) and Trisha (Vidya Balan) are happily married couple until, Trisha gets pregnant and things started getting complicated. Sid is not ready for a baby as he is just a struggling music composer, yet lies to Trisha. On his friends’ advice Sid starts reading pregnancy books and following Trisha’s daily routine by putting a balloon in his shirt. Finally, Trisha gives birth to a baby girl and starts devoting all her time to the baby. Trisha’s mother (Rati Agnihotri) feels that Sid is a careless person and can not take this responsibility, at which Sid makes a desperate attempt to behave like a family man but fails, as on one occasion he takes baby for a walk but forgets her in the market. Frustrated, Sid ask for help from Trisha’s brother-in-law Ranveer (Ram Kapoor), who is a typical family man. Ranveer, reveals to him that when he gets frustrated, he makes a business trip excuse and stays in a hotel room to enjoy his life as a bachelor. Sid takes on his idea and starts staying in hotel, with excuse of working overnight in studio. But soon he has to cut down his idea, due to an added expense at home as Trisha decides to hire an expensive governess (Ila Arun). Sid then, without telling Trisha, goes for a cheaper solution by shifting to shared PG along with Manav (Vir Das), a dope-head bachelor.
